Paris hilton just charged with DUI thursday morning. It'll be interesting to see if she gets out of this one... I don't think she's the type to pick up trash on the side of the road for a punishment...
"The DUI was "probably the result of an empty stomach and working all day and being fatigued," Mintz said. "
If convicted she could face,
"Hilton would be unlikely to face jail time if she is convicted of a first offense. The mandatory minimum punishment is 36 to 60 months of probation and a $390 fine, although penalties could bring that up to about $1,300.
Hilton also would be ordered to enter an alcohol education program and, if she refused, could be ordered to spend at least 48 hours in jail. Her car could be impounded for up to 30 days. "
