To reinstate your Florida driver's license after a subsequent DUI, do all of the above, and install an ignition interlock device (IID) in your vehicle. (This will cost about $182 plus a $67.50 monthly fee.) Florida Hardship Driver's LicenseAll hardship license applicants must fulfill all the reinstatement requirements, including FR44 insurance. First time DUI offenders may apply for a hardship license in the county in which they live. If this is your second offense within 5 years, you may apply for a hardship license after serving one year of revocation.
