New Jersey DUI Class Requirements for DUI Offenders
In New Jersey, the DUI class requirements for offenders include participation in an Intoxicated Driver Resource Center (IDRC). For a first offense with a BAC between 0.08% and 0.10%, the requirements include a suspension of driving privileges until an ignition interlock device is installed, and 12-48 hours of mandatory education at an IDRC. If the BAC is 0.10% or higher, the offender faces higher fines and longer license suspension periods. Additionally, the IDRC provides educational programs on the impact of alcohol and drugs on driving, personal health, and the community (New Jersey DUI and DWI Lawyers) (Law Office of Douglas Herring).
For more detailed information, you might want to check directly on the New Jersey legal sites or consult with a local attorney who specializes in DUI cases.
