Oklahoma Non Owner SR22 Insurance Information

DUI laws and penalties, fines, license suspension, sr22 filing

Many states require certain drivers, usually those who have been convicted of a DUI or other alcohol-related driving offense, to carry a special liability insurance known as "SR22 insurance."

Non-owner SR22 insurance is a type of SR22 insurance available to those drivers who do not own or have regular access to a vehicle.

The State of Oklahoma does not require SR22 insurance for any reason, so an Oklahoma driver should not have to worry about non-owner SR22 insurance.

However, if you live in Oklahoma, but get a DUI in another state, you could be required to carry SR22 insurance in that state. You would need to research the SR22 requirements of the state where the DUI happened. Also, if you get a DUI in Oklahoma, and you then move to another state, the state that you move to may require you to carry SR22 insurance there. Once again, you will need to check out the SR22 requirements in that state.
